[Changwon = Newsis] Reporter Hong Jung-myung = Gyeongnam Techno Park (Director Noh Choong-sik) announced on the 13th that four aviation companies in the province participated in the 2023 Heli Expo in Atlanta, USA, for four days from the 6th to the 9th, achieved a total of 23 export consultations worth $18.1 million. 

The 2023 Heli Expo is the world's largest vertical take-off and landing aviation industry expo organized by the International Helicopter Association. 

Gyeongnam TP set up a "KOREA" promotional booth at the venue with the help of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Corporation (KOTRA) Dallas Trade Center and Atlanta Trade Center to effectively support participating companies in the province. Business-to-business (B2B) refers to a business model in which a company sells various goods or provides services to a company.

 Neo Health Technology Co., Ltd., Earth & Aerospace Co., Ltd., CNRI Co., Ltd., and KENCOA Aerospace Co., Ltd., which participated in the event, supported export consultations for these companies.

 Gyeongnam aviation companies actively promoted the helicopter manufacturing technology and production management skills accumulated while participating in the development of Surion mass production and LAH/LACH models to global customers, including Bell Helicopter, a global helicopter OEM, who visited the KOREA booth. 

Kim Oe-cheol, CEO of Neo Health Technology, said, "We are very grateful to introduce our company's technology and flagship products to potential buyers in North America through this event. We look forward to good results with our meeting customers." 

Noh Choong-sik, director of Gyeongnam TP, said, "At this event, aviation companies in Gyeongnam held very productive B2B meetings with various overseas customers," and predicted, "It is expected that we will be able to win parts orders in the global helicopter market, including North America."
